Mick Boogie Presents Jay-Z & Marvin Gaye - Brooklyn Soul

Free music isn't something you should expect lesser of in terms of quality, compared to music you have to pay for. This is something Mick Boogie's latest venture entitled "Brooklyn Soul" is evidence of. This is basicly a mashup of the a cappellas from Jay-Z's "American Gangster" and beats chopped from old Marvin Gaye songs. Imho the beats on the latest Jay-Z was mediocre at best, and as Marvin has been a big part of my life since forever, this album combines two elements I love and wraps them up in a great package. Professionally executed and well sounding, this is well worth the free download.

Check out Hello Brooklyn which has a Sexual Healing sample and in addition to Jay-Z, Lil Wayne on the hook. The latter which apparently is making a stopover in Oslo around the ninth or thirteenth of March. I'm treating this as nothing more than a rumour (the guy has already cancelled once), but Universal has supposedly confirmed it, but the venue, Sentrum Scene, is not reporting on anything yet. Fingers crossed!
